A bit cliche, I know. But lemme tell ya -

Family healing is often the missing piece in unlocking reduction in anxiety, figuring out who you are (identity), more confidence and overall fully OWNING this big life that you can absolutely have if you want to.
I spent years blaming my family members for how they made me feel and how my needs were not met as a kid. But it. never. helped.
I spent some more years as a new therapist blaming my client’s family members! But it. never. helped.
Blaming can be valid.
It is a good coping mechanism! Until… you’re stuck and all you’re doing is blaming and still feeling like crap.
So.. what do we do?
The answer lies between:
a) Healing what you’ve been through
and
b) Taking the reins back over your life with intentional actions to create the live you deserve to live.
If you can get to the magic place of healing your family stuff so that it’s not controlling you and your mental health anymore,
THEN
Match that with bold, confident action to move toward the life you really want?
You’re unstoppable.
